Is your Stage 1 Audio Upgrade compatible with my International BMW?

Our speaker upgrade package may or may not be compatible with your BMW.  Here's why:  In the U.S., we have available (in most cases) two audio system types: Standard and Premium.  Elsewhere, there are three: Base, Standard, and Premium.  (In some cases, there is more the one "Premium" option in both the U.S. and elsewhere, such as M Audio or DIRAC).  Generally, the Base system is identified by fewer speakers and no amplifier.

Because we only have access to the Standard and Premium versions of BMW audio systems, we can only design our speaker upgrades for these two types of systems.  We have no way to test or design a solution for the "Base" model vehicles outside of the U.S., so while it is likely that our speaker upgrade packages will physically fit, but we just don't know how they'll sound.

If you're not sure which audio system type you have, your BMW dealership can tell you based on your VIN, which is a string of numbers found on a small plaque on the inside of the driver's door jamb.  Just call your dealer, tell them your VIN, and ask what type of audio system you have.

So, if you do have the Base audio system, you are welcome to purchase the product from us, but understand that we are unable to accept returns, provide support, or cover the product for warranty -- in other words, once you purchase the product, it's yours and you're on your own.
