Is the DICE iPod / iPhone Integration Kit compatible with my Mini Cooper?
Yes, this kit is compatible with Mini vehicles as follows:
- Mini Cooper / Cooper S 02-06 (R50/R53)
- Mini Cooper / Cooper S Convertible 05-08 (R52)
However, there are a couple of restrictions that may affect compatiblity:
- This kit is NOT compatible with vehicles with Navigation.
- If your vehicle was produced on 02/05 or earlier, you will not have text display on your radio. Vehicles built after 03/05 will have text display. If you're not sure of your vehicle's build date, open your driver's side door and look at the small plaque inside the door frame, and you'll see the date your vehicle was built in the format MM/YY.
Regardless of build date, all other functions work perfectly, including:
- CD Quality audio
- Control of iPod / iPhone from steering wheel / radio controls
- Control of iPod / iPhone directly
- Charging of your iPod, including iPhone 3G and 3GS
