I installed an XM Direct kit with my DICE iPod / iPhone Integation Kit. Now my car won't find the XM?

This is a problem in some vehicles for reasons not clearly understood.  We believe the two devices are trying to use the same communication systems at the same time, especially right on vehicle start up.  Unfortunately, there is no fix for this except patience.  Here's what you'll need to do:

1. Unplug both kits, disconnect the battery for 30 minutes, then plug both back in and reconnect the battery.

2. Turn on the vehicle and wait 5 minutes, then try toggling through all the devices.  Both devices should be available after waiting.

3. Every time you turn the car on after leaving it overnight, try toggling between all the devices 30 seconds sooner, so 4:30s next time, then 4m, etc. until you figure out how much delay they need for both devices to be recognized, then wait that period of time before trying to use the XM.

Alternatively, you may wish to simply remove one device or the other.
