Can I install an aftermarket head unit / radio with your Stage 1 Audio Upgrade?
Our Stage 1 Audio Upgrade works just like your factory speakers, only with much improved sound quality, so it does not affect your ability to add an aftermarket radio to your BMW. So, the answer is yes, our Stage 1 Audio Upgrade is compatible with aftermarket radios. However, keep in mind that not all BMWs for which we offer a Stage 1 Audio Upgrade are compatible with aftermarket radios. Vehicles that are not compatible with an aftermarket radio / head unit are vehicles which are equipped with DSP, Logic7, and MOST based audio / communication systems.
