I installed Satellite Radio into my X3, but there is no sound. What gives?

You've installed your satellite radio into the driver's side hatch area of your X3. The install went smoothly. You are able to see the text information from the satellite radio on your BMW radio display, but you don't hear any sound. What the heck could've gone wrong?

It's easy. The factory sets up the CD Changer wires (located in your center console) to be the default audio input into the system. We simply need to swap the audio input plug on the back of the radio. To do this, see the attached guide for radio removal. It's easy, we promise!

The vents above the radio simply pop right out. The radio is attached via two Philips head screws. Slide out the radio, and you'll see a plug taped to the main radio harness. This plug needs to replace the plug that is connected to the radio. Once back there, you'll see exactly what we mean. Before you put it all back together, double check to make sure the audio from the Satellite radio is playing properly. Then, enjoy!
