IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have an 92-99 E36 3 Series vehicle and are planning on keeping your factory CD Changer in the vehicle, it is necessary to relocate it ever so slightly. It needs to be moved to the right about 0.75". We WOULD NOT compromise in the design or construction of this enclosure for such a minor detail. Are the subwoofers and amplifier included with this Subwoofer Enclosure?

No - this is a subwoofer enclosure only for those who wish to use their own amplifier and/or subwoofer. If you need a full system including subwoofer and amplifiers, you can get that, too!

Will the Dual 10" Subwoofer Enclosure fit in my 3 Series / M3 Convertible?

No, it won't. Because there's essentially no rear deck in the 3 Series and M3 Convertibles, this is not a compatible solution. However, we do have three enclosures that will work perfectly: our Single 10" for Cabrio, Single 12", and Ultralight Single 12" enclosures are a perfect fit under your convertible top.

Will the Dual 10" Subwoofer System Clear a rear strut tower bar in my 3 Series or M3?

No, it won't. However, some of our other enclosures may: our Single 10" for Cabrio, Single 12", and Ultralight Single 12" enclosures are an excellent fit under most strut tower bars. And while we can't guarantee that these subwoofer enclosures will clear all rear strut tower braces, it will clear most on the market. If you are unsure of fitment, the easiest thing to do is measure height clearance from the bottom of the rear strut bar to the floor. The three enclosures listed are 9.45" tall, so as long as you have at least that much clearance, you'll be just fine

What subwoofers will fit in this enclosure? Will "woofer X" fit in this enclosure?

Because of the huge variety of subwoofers on the marketplace, it would be impossible for us to provide a comprehensive list of compatible subwoofers. However, you can determine whether a given subwoofer will fit based on the mounting depth and hole cutout requirements of your subwoofer. The BSW Deck-Mounted Dual 10" Subwoofer Enclosure maximum mounting depth is 6.1" and the woofer hole cutout size is 9.29" - if the requirements of a given woofer are smaller or equal to these dimensions, the woofer will fit! If not, you'll need to choose another subwoofer.

I'm thinking of buying this enclosure and using my own subwoofers. How will they sound in your enclosure?

All BSW subwoofer enclosures we offer are extremely well built, and will provide some of the best sound possible from your woofer or woofers. However, please keep in mind that every woofer has its own airspace requirement (that is, the internal volume of the subwoofer enclosure in which it plays) as well as ideal enclosure type (sealed, bandpass, etc.).

The Dual 10" Enclosure provides 1.25 cubic feet of airspace, or .625 of airspace per woofer. If this closely meets the requirements of your woofers (you can find this information on their spec sheets), they should sound superb. If airspace is a little tight, that's OK too - you might just want to provide the woofers with a bit more power and you'll be OK.
