Changing the Speakers in Your 99-06 BMW 3 Series / M3 used to be difficult...
Until now. You've had to drive all over town looking for someone to custom
fabricate adapter plates to fit most 5.25" aftermarket speakers into the front
doors of your BMW - or spend a whole day building the plates yourself. Often,
the speaker is too deep or, if you have a sedan, the speaker mounting holes
don't line up.
Now There's a Solution!
For those that want a simple, quick, easy solution, Bavarian Soundwerks has
created an adapter that allows a 5.25" speaker to be mounted quickly and easily
in the front or rear of your 99-06 3 Series / M3 (except Convertible
rear speakers) without the hassles of mounting a 6.5" speaker. (6.5"
speakers often require permanent modifications to your door panel to allow them
to fit and operate properly, complicating installation significantly).

CNC router, which makes only the most accurate and precise cuts possible.

- Unlike standard ABS plastic adapters, which are known for their flexing

in the rear if preferred)
Notes on Installation:
- We recommend using gasket tape to perfectly seal the front of the speaker
from the rear to ensure optimal sound from your front speakers.
- When mounting your speakers to the rings, we also recommend placing the
factory foam back around the rear of the speaker. We noticed a significant
increase in mid-bass response in doing so.
- Please note your particular speakers' hole cutout diameter. There
are two sizes of hole cutouts to choose from; picking the right diameter will
insure a front to rear separation and improve performance.
