Author: Ed Hansen What a timesaver. This week I replaced the midranges and tweeters in my new at least to me 99 M3. Removing door panels is always a frightening proposition. Fear no more! These tools are great. they are hard enough to do the job but do not scratch the paint on your door jambs. Between the tools and the perfect sizing of Bavsounds replacement tweeters and midranges I finished both doors in about 45 minutes and no one would ever know I had been inside the doors. Author: RWP in Santa Monica At first these plastic tools seem overpriced and unnecessary. However, even with doing a simple install they prove to be invaluable. They are perfect in helping to remove the carpet and also to help tuck in wires along the lining, etc. I do wish they were only $10, but found out that the were worth the $20! You might be able to do tclose to the same job with your current tools, but the non-scratching plastic is great.
Author: Chris B. I recently purchased the DICE Silverline with the 2point5 spec.dock and this tool kit was a lifesaver! If I didn use this kit I probably would have broken one of the fasteners in the trunk and would have been very unhappy. So avoid the potential for disaster and use this kit. I also found these tools quite useful in tucking the wiring beneath the door sill, an added bonus not advertised for this kit!! Overall a very useful kit that I would definitely purchase if I had to do it again.
