The BSW XM Direct Satellite Radio System allows you to have XM Satellite Radio with all the benefits of a factory installed system.

100% stealth (if antenna is installed inside vehicle cabin), text
information displays right on your radio or nav screen, and the
system is controlled using your factory radio and steering wheel
controls.
Expandable! Includes al passthrough for your CD changer (or DICE
iPod Integration Kit), you can keep your existing CD changer
or DICE kit and use your XM Satellite Radio, too! And if you don't
have a CD changer or iPod integration kit, you can always add

BMW 5 Series / M5 w/o Nav: Built 09/02 through MY2003
BMW X5 w/o Nav: Built 09/02 through MY2006
BMW X3 w/o Nav: Built 12/03 or later
BMW Z4's w/o Nav: Built 10/03 or later
IMPORTANT NOTE: BSW also offers BMW
radio upgrades to allow vehicles built outside the above date ranges to
install this kit.
BSW offers a Sirius
Connect Kit which is compatible with BMW's built outside the above listed
date ranges. Operation and function is similar, but is more limited.
IMPORTANT Compatibility Notes:
The BSW XM Direct Kit is compatible with vehicles equipped with
a tape deck, but a BMW
radio upgrade is required.
The BSW XM Direct Kit is NOT compatible with vehicles equipped with
Navigation. For navigation equipped vehicles, you may use a BSW BSW
Sirius Direct Kit.
