Author: Blake Extremely well made. I was a little surprised at the price when I ordered it, but once I got it I realized that I got what I paid for. The construction is rock solid. It fits my 328i perfectly, and the instructions were clear and concise. Ive been looking for a good solution to integrate my iPod for almost 2 years. This combined with the Dice unit finally gave me even more than I had hoped for.

I was kind of skeptical about how well it would hold my iPod so I took it out for a few fast corners and small elevation changes in the road. The iPod stayed put! I am a firm believer, not only is it functional but it looks pretty cool too. I get great comments from people, they actually think my 2004 330i ZHP from the dealership like this! The install was simple and easy with more than enouhg information on this site to help. In combination with the DICE module, this it the perfect setup!

Then, I learned my lesson the hard way. By buying it with a discount I ended up spending more money than I originally intended too.Anyway, I was freaking out when my package came in. I wound up disappointed, no iPod interface. . I mean, that was really the reason for buying the HD Kit, other than the perk of HD radio, I would be able to slickly connect my iPhone to my Ashtray, NOT. Anyway, while my rage went on, I browsed through the BavSoundWerkes website You Guys. While trying to see if there was an option of purchasing the \iAshtray,\ and endlessly that idea trying to rebel in my mind. Telling me there was such an option, like a rebelling humming noise in a sea of eagerness, I gave up. At that moment of certain defeat, I stumble upon a certain link named: \Accessories.\ The BMW Angels sang with their inline six cylinder rev. I found what I was looking for, the \iAshtray.\ I quickly brought out my dead steed and from within came my blue Paypal Master card. Never leave home without it, even on the intranetz.I hurdle through forms of information, querying for my shipping information and payment method. Anxiously waiting to see the holy grail of Shipping plans. I have arrived! OVERNIGHT BABY! I sit there stunned at how much money I just gave them, and what I have won. Sunday night passes, no transaction, at thirteen hundred hours, an email arrives at my Stunning hacked iPhone, BAVSOUND \has shipped your product and will arrive as directed,\ is what it said. . In my own words. . .Another thirteen hundred hours pass and alas, the FedEx knight arrives at my door with his Daisy Duke like shorts and not so pocket computer/inventory data entry device. I sign, I pry it from his hands, and shoo away this Federal KnightMare who made me wait so long.I quickly install it using the video tutorial provided at the Beverish Ton Werkes website. Easy, yet functional, no sweat broken, no interior piece of my six horsed wagon harmed. I even had time to save a princess, and kill in a rampage in Americas Army Special Forces.BEAT THAT CURIOUS SHOPPER!

Author: Miguel Tan Wow! Ive never installed anything this easily before. The unit fits perfectly in the center console ashtray and literally took 1 minute to complete installation. I would recommend, however, that one watches the video install guide rather than the written instructions which seems to have extra unneeded steps. The spec.dock definitely gives the car a professional looking ipod interface.

Author: Chris B. The 2point5 spec.dock is an absolute necessity if you install the DICE system of which I highly recommend the silverline, look for my review on the DICE system page. The contours and color of this dock matches the interior of the BMW perfectly making it appear to be a standard option. The first comment I receive on my car anytime a passenger gets in is how nice and integrated this dock looks. Sick of playing your own tunes and your friend happens to have an ipod with them? Simply reach forward and switch it up. Totally eliminate cords and the need to go digging through your glove box with a very sexy cradle that replaces the ashtray. I was originally on the fence as to whether or not I wanted to spend the extra money for the dock and looking back I know I would not have been happy without it. So do the right thing, get the dock and prepare to soak up all of the compliments you will be getting!
