Here are the features built into each Bluetooth Upgrade Module for
your BMW:
- Use your cell phone while it's in your pocket: Bluetooth is a totally wireless technology, so you don't need to connect your phone to anything to make a call. Just leave it in your pocket, and the moment you get in your car, you're able to talk with anyone completely hands free!
- Control your cell phone with your steering wheel and radio controls: browse your phone book, dial, adjust volume, and more -- all from your original radio and steering wheel controls.
- Control your cell phone and navigation system with voice commands. Not every phone or navigation functionality is supported with this feature, but it still affords a great deal of flexibility and true hands-free operation of your cell phone.
- Displays key information on your BMW's displays, such as the phonebook (even on your instrument cluster), call details, and recent numbers dialed. Please note that this does require specific Bluetooth profiles, some of which are not supported by some older Bluetooth equipped phones -- but most newer Bluetooth equipped phones will work without issue.
- Mutes your music automatically, so there are no more missed calls. When a call comes in or goes out, your music is muted instantly and automatically.
